 | Kingbright Introduces Industry Smallest Bi-Color SMD LEDs August 6, 2010 Los Angeles, CA - Kingbright Corporation introduces its latest innovation in developing industry smallest Bi-Color SMD LEDs (APHB1608 package). With dimensions of 1.6 mm x 0.8 mm x 0.5mm thick, the package is exceptional for various backlight and indicator applications. The LED is designed with 2 ultra-bright LED chips with wide viewing angle of 130°, forming multiple color combinations (blue/green, blue/red, blue/yellow, green/red, green/orange, green/yellow, yellow/red). The different chip selections allow design engineers to achieve various hues and intensity levels tailoring to their desired ambience. The low power consumption, reflow solderable element operates under current as low as 2mA and meets industrial temperature ratings of -40°C to 85°C.
